The British Academy Film Awards ceremony was held on February 18th at the Royal Festival Hall in London. At the 77th British Academy Awards ceremony, Christopher Nolan’s biopic “Oppenheimer” dominated the event, winning seven awards, including Best Director, Best Picture, and Best Actor.
At the awards ceremony, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone presented the award for best non-English language film to actor Jonathan Glazer’s “Zone of Interest.” Other nominated films included “20 Days in Mariupol,” “Anatomy of a Fall,” “Past Lives,” and “Society of the Snow.”

Deepika recently shared a social media post on Instagram with the caption ‘Thank you’ on the story of the BAFTA event. She expressed her gratitude for taking on her duty to be chosen as the presenter for her award.
Deepika wore a gold and silver shimmering saree with sequins all over it and was paired with a matching blouse with strappy sleeves. She wore dewy makeup in her kohl-rimmed eyes, a tousled bun and statement earrings.

Other BAFTA presenters who joined Deepika on stage included former England footballer David Beckham, singer Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, FM’s Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh and Wonka’s Oompa. Loonpa’s Hugh Grant and Emily in Paris’ Lily Collins were among the names. . The 77th BAFTA Film Awards Ceremony was broadcast live on Lionsgate Play in India.
