Still, Australia had a job to do. Targeting 180 wasn’t going to be easy! Australia lost Warner and Marsh early on. Glenn Maxwell was misled by some beautiful delivery from Mark Watt. But Travis Head was defending at one end, hoping someone would stay with him. The answer was Marcus Stoinis. The Australian Hulk took all the pressure off, handling boundaries and using his power to reverse sweep more often than ever before. Marcus Stoinis beat Leask for 18 runs in the 14th over and the momentum shifted from there. From there there could only be one winner. Scotland managed the wickets of both the set batsmen but by then the job was already done.
