Belagavi: Former MLA and state BJP spokesperson CN Ashwath Narayan will collect views from BJP leaders and Chikodi Lok Sabha ticket aspirants on Friday and Saturday. The party appointed him as Mr Chikodi’s observer. Meanwhile, DS Arun, another senior leader of the party, is scheduled to meet leaders for the Belagavi LS ticket. Addressing media persons here on Friday, Ashwath Narayan said he would collect views from state, district and local level executives. of the party, its leaders, and its volunteers. Replying to a question on whether there is a possibility of giving tickets to new MPs in place of sitting MPs, Ashwath said anything could happen and it would be decided by the high command. Commenting on the caste census, he said senior leaders are yet to conduct it. He decided between the Kantharaju Report and the Jayaprakash Hegde Report.
