Looking at this problem from a non-perspective,scientific perspective, the use of makeup and strict step-by-step skin care routines for young girls is just sad. I’ve always been taught that beauty comes from within. Whether that teaching came from a Disney princess or from my mother, it was non-stop. It’s a cliché to say, but I feel like the lessons of inner beauty are being ignored these days.
Getting older isn’t a bad thing, especially when it comes to appearance. We should be celebrating the fact that young women can grow up and experience different stages of life, rather than truly pushing them towards adulthood. live. Young girls in today’s world don’t have to worry about wrinkles, fine lines, or eye bags.
We live in a society bent on robbing girls of their childhood experiences. No more Lip Smackers lip balms, no more giant foldable kits filled with brightly colored eyeshadows and the pinkest blush you’ve ever seen. Now all kids want is Drunk Elephant Bronze Drops or Rare Beauty Blush. Of course, this is a natural part of growing up, as everything eventually comes full circle. However, it is a shame to see the young generation of sensitive, gullible and innocent girls grow up too quickly. Instead of letting teenage girls run wild at Sephora, we should be reminding them that they are beautiful just the way they are, with or without makeup.
I know I’ll eventually run out of eyeliner, but while I wait for the world to be kinder to the next generation of leaders, I’ll avoid Sephora and order online instead.
