England’s rugby players are making waves in the international rankings with their versatility across the field, and despite the absence of Maro Itoje, several of England’s stars have earned their places.
Skilled scrum-half Alex Mitchell’s tactical acumen sees him ranked 96th, followed by versatile George Furbank in multiple backline roles at 93. Dynamic fly-half Marcus Smith impresses in 82nd place, while Immanuel Faye Waboso’s speed and skill land him at 81st.
In terms of the forwards, Jamie George, known for his set-piece prowess, is ranked 68th, while Jack Willis, a fantastic back-row player who excels at turning the ball over, is ranked 49th, and versatile back-rower Ben Earl is ranked 15th, highlighting England’s depth and strength in various positions.
