People often miss deliveries not because they’re out, but because they’re at home and don’t hear the knock on the door.
This can be frustrating, but there’s now an easy solution and it’s cheaper than the cost of taking it home. The SECRUI Wireless Doorbell, normally priced at £19.99, has been reduced to just £11.89 on Amazon.
This stick-on gadget has been praised by renters and those who don’t have someone on their doorstep. To install, simply plug the receiver into a power outlet and attach the transmitter to an exterior wall with the included screws or adhesive patch.
Boasting an “ultra-long range wireless range,” the waterproof doorbell provides remote connectivity up to 300 meters/1000 feet and won’t interfere with other devices in your home. The doorbell has 58 songs and 5 adjustable volume levels ranging from 0 to 120 dB. It also remembers your settings even in the event of a power outage, so you don’t have to worry about it.
When the transmitter is pressed and a signal is received, the 7-color LED light indicator on the plug and receiver will flash. Amazon further says, “Alerts you if you are hearing impaired or if the sound of your doorbell is (temporarily) unwanted. If you don’t want a ringtone, you can mute your wireless waterproof doorbell and hear someone answering your door.” When it appears, you will be notified visually by an LED instead,” he added.
Best of all, you won’t have to worry about frequent battery replacements, as the “ultra-low power consumption and CR2032 lithium battery lifespan is up to 3 years.” According to the Manchester Evening News, it currently has around 10,000 reviews on Amazon, of which 6,975 are five stars.

Installation was amazingly easy and it has solved a major problem for me since it was installed. ”
“I recently bought this doorbell after an Amazon driver yelled at me because I couldn’t hear the knock. 26 years later, I clearly need it now. Hopefully I won’t miss the next delivery. ”
A third wrote: “I’m really happy with this doorbell, it was really easy to set up and install, and the sound is great.” Another user added: “Looks great and feels like it’s expensive. Good value for money and so far so good. Easy to set up.”
“Simple, stylish and effective doorbell. Works well. I stuck the doorbell to a brick wall using the adhesive pad in the pack and it stuck well. Very happy. I love it because it’s affordable and I’m a very happy customer,” said a third customer.
Not everyone was enthusiastic, with one adding: “Even when turned up to the highest setting, the bell isn’t very loud. Probably fine for a small bungalow, but not ideal for a house. Looks nice and is easy to install.”
