I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the best person to ask about the best foundation. Or maybe I am, depending on what you want. I really hate the feeling of foundation on my face. I like natural skin that doesn’t smear pigment on my phone every time I answer a call.If I do If I want coverage, I usually choose a lightweight tinted moisturizer, serum foundation, or a non-transferable foundation for oily skin.
However, for the past few months, my face has remained covered in red marks and pigmentation from acne breakouts. Even the best foundation for acne-prone skin didn’t do much for me. So a few months ago, in an effort to give my skin a helping hand, I took a quick look at the foundations I’ve been using since my foundation-obsessed days, and noticed one thing in common. Most of them were Dior foundations.
It made me feel strangely nostalgic. I loved applying foundation. I loved how my skin looked better and I felt better about myself. Then, when I saw my Dior foundation sitting unattended, I realized that maybe my stubbornness was getting in the way of something great.Maybe I did it Let’s go back to being a Foundation person. If you have oily skin like me, you will love this foundation. I’ve never considered myself a fan of foundations with a matte finish, but this one is right in the sweet spot. A lightweight veil provides coverage and really packs a punch. This means it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin and provides full coverage where you need it. And unlike many other matte foundations, it works well at hiding grotesquely large pores without dulling the shine on other areas. In fact, if you’re looking for a truly matte finish, note that you still need powder (as you can see in the photo above, I haven’t applied any powder on the T-zone or under the eyes yet) .
2. Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation

As soon as I see the word “glow” in the name of a foundation, I prepare my powder. I usually have to cover my face with a mattifying powder afterwards to hide my pores. However, I didn’t really need it as this formula is very light and doesn’t have much coverage. I thought it was a full-coverage evening formula (a bit like the discontinued Chanel Vitalumière, which I love), but it’s actually a great everyday option.Natural skin still glows from underneath, but definitely no coverage Too many.
3. Dior Forever Natural Nude Foundation

In the past, I would have lapped up gallons of this foundation. It’s moisturizing and provides very impressive coverage. However, my skin is currently in the oily phase, so it was a little harsh on my skin. Too Adds shine to me. That being said, I’m sure people with dry skin will love this. Again, the coverage is buildable, but it doesn’t pack much punch.
4. Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation

This foundation used to be a mainstay in my collection. It’s lightweight, provides very good coverage, is buildable and generally very versatile. After all, it’s made for professionals and people behind the scenes. But as my love for foundation gradually waned, I reached for it less and less. After trying it again, here are my thoughts: wonderful A foundation for people who don’t like the look of makeup. You can really master it and get it the way you want it, whether you mix it with a moisturizer to thin your skin and boost hydration, or layer it with power and concealer for a smooth finish. However, I seem to be even more lazy when it comes to putting on makeup and just want something that I can apply generously and be done with. This is, for me, a foundation that I would definitely recommend to anyone who has fair to medium-toned skin (needs to expand their shade selection) and is looking for something that hydrates and plumps. In fact, it’s a great option for mature skin. It has much better coverage than other serum foundations and looks amazingly bright and natural on the skin. It’s not for me personally (did I mention I’m oily?), but it’s definitely a nice formula.
6. Dior Prestige Le Micro Fluid Tan de Rose

I’m publishing it now — I Really I didn’t want this foundation on the list. Basically, if you don’t have fair skin that is suitable for this shade selection, you won’t be able to wear it. Even I, as a fair-skinned girl, had a hard time making my shades work. And exclusive beauty products are not something I support. At £120 each, it’s Dior’s most expensive foundation.
However, I believe that people who want a truly luxurious foundation should be able to spend £120 on a formula if they wish. The problem here is that the shade selection doesn’t allow for that. And that’s really unfortunate. Because the formula is: exquisite. This is the most moisturizing, natural-looking, skin-like foundation I’ve ever tried. Does anyone need it? No. Are you impressed? Without a doubt.But everyone deserves at least that chance try Dior should do better with this piece as it is a masterpiece.
