March 2, Abellio London is to do rename to Transportation United Kingdom London Bus.
In February 2023, Transport UK Group completed a management buyout from rail company Nederlandse Spoorwegen, paving the way for the UK-based company to take over Abellio UK’s existing services, including its London bus operations. The official change to Transport UK London Bus will see the business align with his TUK group.
Operators say it will be business as usual once the name is introduced. The buses are now being rolled out under the new Transport UK brand and there is a program of changes to extend the new brand across the business. Plans are in place to update the depot signage, letterhead, existing website and social media channels. The company is consulting with employees about updates to its uniforms that will be rolled out in 2025.
