A murder investigation has been launched after a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in west London.
Detectives say Tyler Donnelly's family and friends are inconsolable.
Mr Donnelly had left his home on Wednesday night and runners found his body in the park early Thursday morning.
Police said officers were called to Hanworth Park in Feltham at around 7.40am. They found him stabbed.
The crime scene remained in the park Thursday and was expected to remain there for several days. No arrests have been made.
After leaving his home at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, Donnelly rode his bicycle along Elmwood Avenue to the park. Police say he never returned to the house.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted, they added.
Detective Superintendent Shaun Wilson, who leads Hounslow Police, said: “It is sad to see another young life cut short unnecessarily. I would encourage anyone with information about those responsible to contact our investigation team.” said.
“We know this incident will be a shock to those who live and work in the area and officers will be carrying out additional patrols to provide reassurance to the community.”
Detective Inspector Brian Howie, who is leading the investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Homicide Command, said: “If you were in the park and witnessed something, regardless of why you were there, please make sure to contact us. Our focus is to find out what happened to Tyler. The question lies in what happened and who was responsible.
“Similarly, as you drive down Elmwood Avenue, walk home, or walk down Elmwood Avenue, do you notice something? Perhaps you see Tyler in black riding a gray bicycle? Or did you see him with someone?
“The H25 bus route passes through Elmwood Avenue. Did you pass through this area Wednesday or early Thursday morning? Did you see Tyler or anyone matching his description?
“Tyler's family and friends are inconsolable after receiving the worst possible news. Our thoughts are with them and they are being supported by specialist police officers.”
