Another big part of our club is the Albion Foundation which is absolutely fantastic. How much do you know about them and how excited are you to be a part of their many projects?
“Philanthropy is one of the hallmarks of our family.
“I think there is nothing more important than giving back and making a difference in any way you can.
“I have been really impressed with the work of the Albion Foundation. This is one of the things that stood out to me as unique among many other clubs that I have seen over the years; It’s something special.” I’m excited to be involved.
“I think the Foundation’s programs and reach at this point are already tremendous. Whether it’s here in the Midlands or in the Black Country or whether it’s in Africa, we as a family I’m looking forward to seeing how they build on it with their philanthropic projects around the world.
“The Albion brand has great strength and I think the Foundation has great potential.”
What are the main emotions you are feeling since completing the acquisition?
“I haven’t allowed myself to get excited about this process all this time because everything is always so tenuous and I don’t know what will happen in terms of what news will come when I wake up the next day. Because I don’t know ‘out, or how things have changed.
“I’ve been on high alert for about three or four months, and I think I feel an incredible sense of relief being here.
“I can finally allow myself to be a little excited about this opportunity. I’ve wanted to be excited for a long time, but I couldn’t allow myself to do it until things were official.
“I’m so happy right now. I’m over the moon and can’t wait to see what happens next.”
