Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been criticized for comments he made to BBC interviewer Jane Lewis.
Rodgers must have been feeling pretty positive after seeing his team beat Motherwell 3-1. The 51-year-olds secured a dramatic victory with stoppage-time goals from Adam Ida and Luis Palma.
The result moves the Glasgow giants within two points of fierce rivals Rangers, who currently lead the Scottish Premiership. However, the former Liverpool manager seemed quite uncomfortable after the match.

Mr Rogers was carrying out normal media duties, including speaking to a BBC Radio Scotland reporter. The former Leicester City manager began to lash out at the media after giving his assessment of his team’s performance.
He concluded his remarks by saying, “Stories have been written about this group, but we’re going to write our own.”

Lewis replied, “Actually, I don’t know exactly what you mean. Can you tell me? People might want to know, since you’re bringing it up…” and was then asked to explain what kind of “story” it was. What is he talking about? He said “No” and “You know exactly what I mean.”
When the experienced interviewer tried to ask the question again, Mr. Rogers cut her off by saying: “Okay, are we done yet?” said the Northern Irishman, walking away from the microphone and the provocative question.Well done, good boy, cheers. ”
To be fair to Luis, I could hear her giggling to herself while he ran off. However, the comment exposed him to criticism from fans on social media. “Well, he handled the pressure well, created a false narrative, and acted condescending towards women,” one fan said.
An outraged fan wrote: “This is shockingly sexist and extremely patronizing! He’s favoring ‘girls’ who are far more educated than him! What an arrogant little man!” Ta. A third added: “How dare you look down on Brendan? ‘Good boy!'” Dear, dear me.”
