When I talk to Star Trek fans, they always say this. Star Trek: Legacy Happening? “I’m with you, manifesting. Write about it. I want to be there too, so post on social media. There’s no reason not to.”
Will it be awkward to have Raffi as Captain Seven and co-pilot? What is their Facebook relationship status at the end of the year? Picard?

As a SAG-AFTRA negotiator, you just got through a big problem using AI for strikes. William Shatner recently said that the virtual version of himself on Star Trek was cool, but only after he was gone. Star Trek has a lot of legacy actors, what do you think about this idea of Star Trek using his AI to bring back all these characters in the future?
What I like is that they have codified whether contracts around AI technology include consent, indemnification, and pension and healthcare contributions. So if they want to bring back people, perhaps people who have passed away, they have to talk to the estate administrator and living relatives to get permission and compensation. So, if you think about it, everyone wins. So you can bring those people back to life and do things like that, but you’re doing it the right way and everyone is getting paid for it. If you think about it, our industry is the only one that actually has guardrails in place around AI technology.
You get a call and Paramount just wants to do an insert scene with Raffi, and in exchange for flying you to Toronto, they’re going to use an AI for you and your voice, and of course you pay x amount of money. Let’s say I said that. I will, but is it okay for me personally?
Well, what I like about that possibility is that if I was shooting something in New York or California, they could say, “Oh, we’d love to do this AI-generated scene with you. But you don’t have to do that.” Here. “I’m negotiating now how much they have to pay me for that. And I’m still in L.A. and can shoot whatever scenes I’m shooting there. I mean, I’m ostensibly doing two jobs at the same time, and as long as they’re paying me the amount I negotiated and I have agreement on what to do with the character, that’s pretty good. think.

Todd Staszwich talks about his love for Trek fans and bringing back the show heritage
On Trek Talks, you joked with Terry about coming back from the dead. heritage. So how are they going to bring you back from the dead?

So you were nominated tonight Picard I believe this is your first Saturn Award nomination. How has being on Star Trek changed your life?
Well, this is a franchise that’s been around for over 50 years and has had its share of ups and downs. Joining that family and that family of fans is a tsunami of love. can’t believe it.
What’s next?
I am currently co-writing the Captain America/Black Panther game for Skydance New Media. And since I’m a big D&D guy, I’m going to be doing a big Kickstarter for something inspired by Dungeons and Dragons. So, all you nerds out there, keep your eyes peeled.

Michelle Hurd: When the whole cast saw this guy during filming, we knew it was going to explode. Todd did a great job as a show, but it was as a cast, so we were all like, “You’re doing it.”
