Dakota Johnson literally freaked out when her interview was interrupted by an earthquake.
The 34-year-old actress is currently promoting her new film Madame Web, in which she plays Cassandra Webb, a New York City paramedic who begins to show signs of clairvoyance.
Dakota, who co-starred with co-stars Sidney Sweeney and Emma Roberts, got into some rumblings while talking about the role.
“These young women–” she began to tell Entertainment Tonight, but was cut off by the sound of a wall collapsing.
“Was that an earthquake?” asked one of the presenters.
“Okay, we just had an earthquake,” she laughed, while Persuasion star Dakota fell into stunned silence.
“Did you just do that?” she was asked.
Dakota, a character with special powers in the movie, asked, “Did I have that too?”
“Do you like how we all just sat here?” she scoffed, pointing out that no one was actually evacuated.
“That was great. Go on, maybe…”
“There will be aftershocks. That was a big earthquake,” the Fifty Shades of Gray star added.
She was then informed that there had actually been an earthquake in Hawaii “a few hours ago.”

“Oh, that’s what it is. Of course…it’s creepy!” said Dakota, wide-eyed.
I’m sure we’ve all heard of method acting, but it’s on a whole new level…
Reacting to the video, which has now gone viral, social media users laughed at how “okay” Dakota was.
X user JamieKM16 wrote, “I’m so obsessed with the weird nonchalance she always shows.”
“She went too far and predicted there would be aftershocks,” joked iamreversefunny.
User icanbarelyswim wrote, “This is so haunting. What does she know?”
“Even the way she deals with the earthquake is iconic,” official_swad said.
Dakota has been making the media rounds in recent weeks, making a series of headline-grabbing revelations.
In true Dakota style, the woman behind “That’s Not True, Ellen” has given us even more memes and viral moments.
That included clarifying her comments about 14 hours of sleep.
Correcting reports in 2023 that she was indeed sleeping like a sloth, the American star clarified to Jimmy Fallon:
‘That’s a long time. Do you like sleeping for 14 hours? asked Jimmy.

‘no. He said he could easily sleep for 14 hours. But I don’t ask for it. I’m not a monster,” Dakota said with a laugh.
Elsewhere, she talked about filming The Office US, shockingly calling it “the worst experience of my life.”
In 2013, Dakota landed a bit role in the finale of the iconic sitcom, based on Ricky Gervais’s seminal BBC show.
“Honestly, that was the worst time of my life,” Dakota laughed as she reflected on her experience on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
“I really like that show, and they said, ‘Do you want to be on the series finale?'” And I was like, “Of course,” and I thought I’d come for half a day. It was. ”
Instead, half a day turned into “two weeks,” she joked.
“Madame Web” will be released nationwide on February 14th.
