Liverpool fans rejoiced as they celebrated their 10th League Cup win.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley thanks to captain Virgil van Dijk’s extra-time header. The Dutchman previously saw a goal ruled out in a heated clash with Chelsea, with the injury-hit Reds relying on a number of young players to get them over the line.
When the final goal was scored, there were scenes of jubilation from Reds fans who traveled to the capital, and footage of similar jubilation from those watching the final in pubs and bars across Liverpool.

Fans jumped on tables and hugged each other at Jurgen’s Beerhouse in Liverpool city center, while video from the packed Baltic Market showed hundreds of Liverpool supporters cheering and filling the air. It showed them having a meeting.
