The U.S. Men’s National Beach Soccer Team will compete in the 7th FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 15th to 25th.

Beach soccer history and rules
Originating on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, beach soccer has been played informally on sandy beaches around the world for many years. Despite its South American roots, the game was codified by the Los Angeles organization in 1992, and a year later it was first played in Miami Beach, with the United States hosting Brazil, Argentina and Italy. The U.S. Men’s National Beach Soccer Team qualified for this year’s World Cup at the 2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship held in Nassau, Bahamas last May. 2024 USA Beach Soccer World Cup Roster
On January 31, USBMNT head coach Francis Faberoff selected the final 12-man squad for the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. With eight players who have played in the Beach Soccer World Cup in the past and players averaging 46 caps, the 2024 national team will be the most experienced team the United States has ever sent to the tournament.
The roster includes 11 of the 12 players who helped the United States win the 2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship last May and qualify for this year’s World Cup, with Tanner Akol the only member of the team. It wasn’t.
Trio aiming for fourth World Cup appearance Alessandro Canale, nick perera and Chris Toth (2013, 2019, 2021, 2024; pictured below) joins Francis Faberoff (2005, 2006, 2007, 2013) as the most World Cup-appearing player in Beach MNT history. The trio are also teammates on the club, playing for the Taco Masters of the Major Arena Soccer League.
