
British sportswear and apparel retailer Frasers Group has acquired gym and fitness wear specialist WIT Fitness for an undisclosed sum.
This agreement includes the assets and intellectual property (IP) of WIT Fitness.
Headquartered in London, WIT Fitness employs 15 staff.
We offer CrossFit training, a high-intensity fitness program, with more than 13,000 participating locations worldwide.

The move is part of Frasers Group’s continued strategy to expand its presence in the retail sector.
The acquisition also strengthens the company’s sports portfolio, which already includes Sports Direct, Evan’s Cycles, Lillywhites and Everlast Gyms.
The group, majority-owned by prominent businessman and Sports Direct founder Mike Ashley, has been aggressively buying up retailers and increasing its stakes in companies such as Boohoo and ASOS.
In December 2023, Frasers added luxury clothing retailer Matches Fashion and luxury men’s clothing retailer John Anthony to its portfolio.
In October, Frasers Group signed a binding agreement to acquire German sports retailer Sportchek for an undisclosed sum.
