NEW DELHI: India’s star left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav is currently in the spotlight, meeting dignitaries, giving interviews and receiving accolades from all quarters after winning the prestigious ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title in the Americas. India lifted the ICC trophy after 11 years on June 29, defeating South Africa by seven runs in a thrilling final at the Kingston Oval Stadium in Barbados. India last tasted victory in an ICC event way back in 2013.
In a recent interview, Kuldeep hinted at some exciting news for his eager fans and suggested that a happy announcement would be made soon, but clarified that he is not marrying a Bollywood actress.
“There will be good news soon but it’s not about the actress. It is important that she takes care of me and my family,” Kuldeep Yadav told NDTV.
Kuldeep met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday.
“A courtesy call was paid on me today with Kuldeep Yadav, a member of the T20 World Cup winning Indian cricket team,” Adityanath said in a Hindi post on X.
During the T20 World Cup, Kuldeep played five matches and picked up 10 wickets.
