HBO’s “The Last of Us” won two awards in this year’s 2024 Rocky Awards International Programming Competition, it was announced at the Banff World Media Festival on Tuesday. “The Last of Us” won in the Drama Series: English Language category, as well as the Grand Jury Prize, which is chosen from the program with the highest score among all nominated programs.
Other big-award winners from the US included Peacock’s “Poker Face” which won in the Best Comedy Series (English Language), Fox’s “The Masked Singer” which was honored in the Best Competitive Series/Game Show category, and Fox’s “Family Guy” which won in the Best Animated Series category.
In total, 30 awards were presented across the categories streams Documentary & Factual, Arts & Entertainment, Children & Youth, Scripted and Podcasts, in addition to the presentation of several other Rockies Gala Awards.
