Since its launch, The Finals has offered a fantastic and unique multiplayer experience. There is now less than a week left until Season 2 transitions into Season 3. This new chapter was announced at Summer Game Fest, where a “leak” was confirmed regarding the Japanese map. In addition to confirming a new battlefield set in Japan, Embark Final Season 3 brings new weapons and gadgets For each class.
To see Embark’s latest fixes, check out the patch notes for update 2.11.0. During Summer Game Fest, it was confirmed that The Finals Season 3 is scheduled to begin on June 13th. We know that Terminal Attack will be a ranked mode in Season 3, and we also know that the new map will be in Japan. Embark previously stated on Reddit that new communication features will be added, and they have also confirmed a Ruby rank with skins.
While the introduction of new maps is exciting, it’s also great news that the Japanese theme carries over into new weapons and gadgets for each class.
New Weapons and Gadgets in Final Season 3
Below are the new weapons and gadgets that will be coming in The Finals Season 3.
- Recurve Bow:
- NEW WEAPON FOR LIGHTS: A skilled mid-to-long range bow that fires arrows in an arc, increasing in range and damage the further the string is pulled.
- Thermal Bore:
- NEW GADGET FOR LIGHTS: A long-range, high cooldown, tactical breaching gadget. Perfect for breaching walls, buildings, and other obstacles from afar to secure passage and visibility for you and your team. Perfect in combination with long-range weapons!
- Dual Katana:
- A new melee weapon for MEDIUMS. Its primary attack is a fast multi-strike combo with great reach and forward momentum. It can also be used to charge up a lunging attack or to deflect incoming projectiles in a defensive position.
- spear:
- A new melee weapon for the Heavy. Its primary attack is a fast long-range thrust, but it can also spin to cover more area. It does less damage than the Heavy’s Sledge Hammer, but is noticeably more agile.
- Winch Claw:
- New Heavyweight Specialty: Fire a chain to pull in objects or enemies and stun them for a short time. Works great with the new spear. Requires strategic use, precision, and skill!
