A group of British retailers is suing Amazon The company is seeking damages of up to £1.1 billion, alleging that the data was misused to inflate its own profits and pushed people out of the market. British Association of Independent Retailers (Bira) Mr Bila said it was the largest class action lawsuit brought by a British retailer. The suit was filed on behalf of British retailers in a specialist court in London on Thursday. A San Francisco jury acquitted Lynch on Thursday, a surprising relief for the entrepreneur who has been dogged by legal troubles since selling the company 13 years ago. The verdict came after an 11-and-a-half-week trial.
