While many of us are looking forward to the return of warm weather, for some, the hot and humid weather is a nightmare.
From wearing cold flannel to staying indoors, some people can’t think of anything worse than having the sun beating down on their head.
If you spend your nights tossing and turning in bed trying to fall asleep, it might be worth listening to.
It comes as shoppers flock to Aldi to snap up the new gadget which has appeared in the Special Buy section – with people saying it’s a “need” rather than a “want”.
The high demand product in question is the innovative and efficient ‘Ambiano Bladeless Fan’, which retails for a very reasonable £39.99 and is the perfect product for staying cool with little to no noise pollution.
One delighted customer, named Vicky Huff, rushed to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share a video she recorded of the fan in action.
This fan has three different speed settings, with the highest speed being an impressive 1250 revolutions per minute, and it also has a digital touchscreen and remote control, which makes it super convenient to change the power settings from a distance, like when you’re in bed.
Plus, it has a built-in timer to keep you cool all day long.
When is the best time to shop at Aldi?
If you want to shop at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.
Discounted items – store opening
Products with the red stickers are rare in Aldi’s 830 stores in the UK, but the supermarket says it doesn’t waste any food, so you might be able to find some if you hurry.
“On the dates of their best before or expiry dates, all products will be reduced in price by up to 50 per cent of their retail price,” a supermarket spokesman said.
This means that if you get to the store as soon as it opens, you’ll have the best chance of finding discounted foods.
Opening times vary by store, but most open from 7 or 8 a.m. You can use the supermarket’s online store locator tool to find opening times for your nearest store.
Special Buys – Thursday and Sunday
Special Buys are weekly collections that Aldi puts together of products that aren’t normally available for sale, from pizza ovens to power tools.
New stock arrives in store every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best special deals.
To further increase your chances of snagging the best items, time your visit to coincide with the opening times of your local stores.
However, you don’t have to go to the store to get your Specialbuy.
They are also available online, usually at midnight on Thursdays and Sundays, and can be pre-ordered up to a week in advance.
If you spend over £25 your items will be delivered free of charge.
Remember: once it’s sold out, it’s gone, so if there’s something you really want, come visit as soon as possible.
Buying from Aldi is a great alternative to the pricey Dyson Pure Cool Purifying Fan, which costs £399.99 – meaning you’ll save a whopping £350.
The post quickly became a hit online, with many wanting to know more.
“Is it noisy at all?” asked a social media user, to which Vicky replied: “It’s no noisier than a normal fan.”
To another person who asked if the fans were powerful, the overjoyed shopper simply replied: “Yes!”
Others said they were eager to get their hands on the handy gadget before the heatwaves hit, but it’s selling out.
“That’s amazing!” one person praised.
A second person tagged her sister and wrote: “I’m buying one too…I think dad will love it too.”
Another wrote: “We need this in our room!”
And then he added: “If you go, could you see if they have it?”
