But both will cost money to get there. The coveted list of 2024’s “World’s Best Steak Restaurants” has been crowned by Michelin-starred restaurant Paris La Don Julio in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
With social media ‘stars’ like Salt Bae charging £1,700 for a gold steak at a restaurant, you might think the world’s best restaurants would charge even more for the pleasure. I don’t know, but that’s a mistake.
The most expensive steak on the menu is the tenderloin steak at 94.40 pounds (10,6230 Argentine pesos), and the cheapest beef is the 1/2 short rib at 49.10 pounds ($55,465).
This is the second year in a row that owner Pablo Rivero and executive chef Guido Tassi have placed their steakhouse at the top of the list.
“This restaurant stands as a beacon of culinary excellence in Buenos Aires and beyond, perfectly capturing the essence of Argentinian cuisine,” the World’s Best Steak Restaurant team wrote in an Instagram post celebrating the expensive restaurant. “We offer an unforgettable dining experience that captures the essence of the world.”

You may have to hop on a plane to get to the world’s best steak restaurant, but you don’t have to go far to visit Britain’s best steak restaurant, ranked 10th in the world.
If you’re looking for the best juiciest steak in the world, just head to London’s Cut at 45 Park Lane.
It doesn’t cost that much money either.
The cheapest steak, created by executive chef Elliott Glover and team, costs £72 and serves a 12oz 28-day dry-aged bone-in beef fillet. Meanwhile, the most expensive steak costs him £350.
However, you’ll be sharing a 35-ounce bone-in tomahawk steak, so you won’t be paying full price (unless you’re especially hungry).
