On May 18, hundreds of families from across the region gathered at the Galloway Sports Complex to participate in a popular interactive event known as Touch-A-Track. The event, hosted by Prairie Township, included nearly 20 safety departments, health and safety organizations, local businesses and groups, and was open to area youth and young at heart to explore. We made equipment, machinery, and vehicles readily available. . Garrett Bell, 3, is pictured here happily sitting in the cockpit of a Columbus Police Department helicopter. Those who remained until the end of the two-hour event were able to watch the helicopter take off.
