“Pillows aren’t the first thing you think of when talking about camping gear, but they’re definitely an item that can change your camping experience,” says Daniel. “Rest is very important after a long day of hiking, so having something comfortable like a pillow can make your time in the tent a little more comfortable.”
Not sure which one to get? Daniel recommends the Sea To Summit Erotics Ultralight Pillow (retailer link). “It’s a great camping pillow that I’ve been using for years.”
2. Travel coffee maker
Can’t function without caffeine in the morning? And Dan says this little gadget could be a game changer. “You can also get mini coffee makers that are as small as travel mugs,” Dan says. “Like the Aeropress Coffee Maker (Retailer Link).” “There’s no reason not to enjoy freshly brewed morning coffee while camping.”
3. Power bank

Whether you’re heading to a serious campsite or camping in the wild, Dan says a power bank is the gadget everyone needs when sleeping under the stars. “Simply documenting your trip with a camera or listening to a small music player in your sleeping bag at night can make your camping trip even more enjoyable,” he says. “So be sure to bring a power bank with you to ensure your devices are fully charged when you travel.”
4.GPS device
“GPS devices, such as handhelds and watches, are a great way to map hiking routes, send SOS alerts, and track your daily mileage,” explains Daniel. “Having all the information you need about your surroundings on your wrist or handheld makes navigating much easier. Garmin InReach Mini 2”
5.Quick-drying towel

Towels are a must-have for camping trips, but Daniel says it’s much more convenient to have a towel that dries quickly instead of having to constantly go to the bathroom. “It’s lightweight, quick-drying, and doesn’t take up much space in your backpack,” he says. “Plus, it’s great for mopping up condensation on tent walls or after a hard swim.” Remember, the faster it dries, the more you can use it.
