The Netball World Cup (NWC), formerly known as the World Netball Championship, is netball’s signature event, attracting the world’s top teams.
The event will be presented around the world through various broadcast partners and the INF app, introducing netball to a whole new audience.
The INF Congress will also be held alongside the event, providing a global forum for netball nations to come together, innovate, share ideas and celebrate women in sport.
In 2019, the event was held in Liverpool, England, sponsored by England Netball and supported by UK Sport. The INF 2019 competition was held from July 10th and 11th and the competition was held from July 12th to 21st.

Journey
In February 2015, Liverpool was announced as the host city. This was the first time the Netball World Cup was held on British soil since it was held in Birmingham in 1995.
Australia entered the tournament as defending champions, winning their 11th title in Sydney in 2015. Australia have also won the last three Netball World Cups.
All 16 teams have qualified for Liverpool 2019. England automatically qualify as hosts, with Scotland and Northern Ireland from the Netball Europe region, Fiji and Samoa from the Oceania region, Uganda and Zimbabwe from the Africa region, and Barbados and Trinidad. obtained the right. Tobago qualified from the Americas region, while Sri Lanka and Singapore qualified from the Asia region. NETBALL World Cup 2019 Regional Qualifier
Sixteen teams from around the world competed in Liverpool for netball’s ultimate prize. Vitality Netball World Cup. The teams were selected through both the International Netball Federation (INF) world rankings and regional qualifying tournaments.
As hosts, England automatically qualified for the tournament along with the top five teams in the rankings. Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, South Africa, Malawi. These six teams are joined by Liverpool from the countries listed below, all of whom qualified through their respective regional qualifying events in 2018.

Regional qualifying event
