She has fostered an environment where women are encouraged to celebrate each other’s successes. Mackie’s fitness journey is also personal as she has played a pivotal role in her mother’s battle with health issues. Her mother overcame her high blood pressure and need for diabetes medication through her continued exercise, and Peach is an inspiration to many at her studio.
