Following the success of its first launch last year, L&Q has announced a new phase of London Living Rent (LLR) homes at L&Q at the Beam Park development in Newham, East London.
In the past 12 months, L&Q has accommodated 67 new customers at Beam Park, with many of LLR’s new homes occupied within just one month of release. Capitalizing on the development’s proven popularity, a new selection of one and two-bedroom homes will be launched through the Government Support Scheme from 8 March.
A ‘trailblazer’ area for two transforming London boroughs and a joint venture project with Countryside, Beam Park comprises around 3,000 new homes for sale and rent.
In addition to new housing, the development is designed to incorporate a range of amenities, green space and community facilities. Sainsbury’s Local was recently announced, Beam Park Health Center is due to open this spring, and a primary school and nursery school are expected to open in September.
Andrea Palmer, Head of LLR at L&Q, commented: “Our London Living Rent homes at Beam Park have attracted strong interest throughout the last year, with peak availability over 20 times higher.
“We are pleased to be able to meet this demand and bring more apartments to market this spring. This will create further opportunities for customers to secure a home at a rent that allows them to save a down payment and get on the property ladder. You can.”
Brother Jemima and Aaron discovered L&Q’s LLR at Beam Park. This allows you to rent a home with your family in East Ham at a discounted rate, while saving money on your down payment.
Jemima explained: “As I entered my mid-20s, I was curious about what options I had in the London property market. At first I wanted to buy, but for the time being my single income would preclude that. It turns out it’s possible.
“It made more sense to rent somewhere, but we wanted the peace of mind of not having to move anywhere right away.”
