A specialist fitness brand based on the round premium exercise bike will open in Manchester’s Burton Arcade on March 18th, creating 25 new jobs.
Ryde claims to have built a cult-like following in Leeds following CEO Kyle Harris since launching the company there in 2022.
Harris, a former army physical training instructor, said he worked as a personal trainer in London’s financial district for four years and noticed a gap in the market for a more sophisticated and personalized service.
Mr Harris said: “The community we have built in Leeds has absolutely exploded and continues to grow every month. If we can get that side of our business right again in Manchester, there are exciting times ahead. ”.
The workout studio is fully equipped with premium exercise bikes and equipment, audio-visual systems, and modern interior design.
Ryde joins an already growing portfolio of great modern fitness brands. Barry’s, TRIB3, Blok and more have found a home in Manchester.
Other spin-off projects include Ryde Retreats, which took the brand to Barcelona for week-long fitness retreats in private villas, offering a variety of classes and food and beverages.
