Okay, so I praised the scent, but what does it smell like? Very warm and spicy, as indicated by the aromas of pink pepper, clove oil, marron accord, gaiac wood oil, vanilla, and casherman.
The name “Fireside” perfectly describes the scent of this fragrance. When you first spray it, it opens with a smoky kick reminiscent of a crackling wood fire, then turns into a woody, musky note that still clings to the skin for a more subtle, spicy smokiness. Even compared to literal fire, it’s rich but not overpowering.
The feeling this fragrance gives me is unparalleled, I feel comfortable and chic when I wear this. Even though it’s traditionally a winter perfume, I’ve been known to feel that way all year round. It’s also a unisex scent, so my partner often picks it up (though he’s only allowed to spray it very sparingly) and we both wear this… I received many compliments.
For an eau de toilette, this scent is surprisingly long-lasting and price-wise, I found the smallest bottle to set you back £60 for 30ml and £120 for 100ml. I own the 30ml bottle and so far it has lasted him almost 2 years (and is still using it). So if you’re looking for a budget option or don’t want to commit to the full size just yet, we recommend the smaller size.
