story
Tech billionaire Brian Johnson continues to make news in the fitness world, and we’re all watching his attempts to reverse the aging process. He has made headlines for his controversial and relentless attempt to live forever and is often referred to as a “biohacker.”
SET FOR SET’s fitness experts predict that ‘biohacking’ will be one of the hottest trends in 2024, and reveal 10 ways you can ‘biohack’ to contribute to a longer, healthier life. I shared it.

For those inspired by Brian Johnson’s “Project Blueprint,” consider the following “biohacks.”
- ice-cold plunge — Cold plunging is a type of cold water therapy or cold water immersion that involves immersing the body in cold temperatures. This activity reduces inflammation, improves circulation, and promotes post-workout recovery. It has also been shown to boost your immune system, improve sleep quality, and help manage stress.
- Optimize your sleep — Getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep promotes muscle growth and repair, keeps your brain alert, and improves blood sugar levels.
- normal sauna — Saunas have cardiovascular health benefits. When exposed to high temperatures, the body attempts to cool down by increasing heart rate, blood flow, and cardiac output. This is known to lower blood pressure.
- Himalayan salt aqueous solution — Electrolyte levels help balance the amount of water in your body, balance acid/base (pH) levels, and move nutrients into your cells. Mineral-rich Himalayan salt is rich in electrolytes and has been shown to help detox the body and support kidney and liver function.
- Testosterone replacement therapy — Testosterone replacement therapy improves energy levels, sex drive, increases bone density, muscle mass, insulin sensitivity, and generally improves mood.
- intermittent fasting — Once the fast is complete, several changes occur in your body. These include lowering blood insulin levels, increasing human growth hormone, and cellular repair, where the body removes waste products from cells.
- moderate coffee intake — Low to moderate doses of caffeine (50-300 mg) have been shown to cause increased alertness, energy, and focus. Both regular and decaf coffee also have liver-protecting effects.
- regular blood tests — Blood tests can check blood sugar, calcium, cholesterol, and electrolyte levels and measure kidney function. These indications help monitor your risk of heart and circulatory diseases and diabetes.
- breathwork — By practicing breathing techniques, you train your body to automatically control your breathing and use it as a calming tool during times of stress.
- red light therapy — This is a common method used to optimize the overall health of your skin. Red light therapy can also help promote muscle recovery, reduce pain and inflammation, support nervous system health, and generally increase energy levels.
lesson
So, is “biohacking” suitable for you? These tips aren’t out there often, but Brian Johnson’s “Project Blueprint” is a whole other world.
“The 46-year-old billionaire spends $2 million a year to resist the aging process. He follows a strict diet of 2,250 calories for six hours a day. He also exercises for an hour a day. He takes daily supplements, has strict bedtimes, has very regular blood transfusions and daily health tests. According to reports, he takes 80 vitamins and minerals a day and eats 70 pounds of pureed vegetables a month. His skin care regimen consists of washing his face. A SET FOR SET spokesperson says it’s a combination of CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser (retail price $14.99) and microdosing of Accutane, a retinoid drug that treats severe acne, in two 40mg tablets per week.
This is extreme, but “biohacking” doesn’t have to be. Essentially, by approaching wellness informed at an almost biological level, you can take your health and wellness to the next level and “hack” your body to live a healthier life and improve your physical health. The goal is to help you feel your best both mentally and physically.
While this may sound like a lot of effort or only reserved for the elite with time, it’s actually very easy to incorporate biohacking into your daily life. In fact, you may already be biohacking without even knowing it.
