The BRIT Awards are the biggest night on the British music calendar, but as well as celebrating both domestic and international artists, they’re also an opportunity for expression of all kinds and some seriously coveted experimental beauty looks. The soil is very ripe.

Rising Star Award winner The Last Dinner Party offered goth coquette core, with lead singer Abigail Morris rocking a shaggy curly mullet. Lead guitarist Emily Roberts played some of the heaviest flickliners. Vocalist and guitarist Lizzy Mayland wears an edgy mullet pixie. Keyboardist Aurora Nishevci plays a wet-look vixie, while bass guitarist Georgia Davis opts for waist-length Pre-Raphaelite waves. This style was also favored by Olivia Dean, who wore shiny crimp waves on the back.
XXL hair length was also a theme of the night. Ellie Goulding wears her hair down to her waist in a slight side parting, Pink Pantherless lets out super-long liquid strands in see-through bangs, and Mel B wears her hip-length sporty She showed off her spiced ponytail.
Elsewhere, singer Debbie skipped the traditional eyeshadow for a sprinkling of pearl crystals around her eyes, repeating the detail at the ends of her braids. Dua Lipa wore her cherry cola hair in a simple, soft, straight, center-parted look and paired it with ultra-feline liner. And multi-nominee Ray, of course, opted for a totally retro glamor, combining her trademark ’60s rolled bob with a jaw-droppingly graphic smokey eye.
Her naturally textured hair was also beautiful and powerful. AJ Odudu tousled his curls for maximum volume, Nia his archive curly cheekbone length his bob gave us bone structure and Clara his amfo gave us. height In a coiled half-updo, Fleur East showed off her full-bodied ’60s-inspired afro (along with the cutest baby bump).
