Olivia Rodrigo announced her new charity fund, Fund 4 Good, during her Guts World Tour.
In a video uploaded by her official TikTok fan account (@livieshq), the 21-year-old singer reveals that she is launching a brand new initiative in support of reproductive rights just as she is about to take the stage at Acrisure. Last Friday, the first day of the Guts World Tour was held at an arena in Palm Springs, California.
“I’m so excited because tonight is the first day of the GUTS World Tour,” she began the video. “Before I go on stage, I wanted to come here and talk about something I’m really excited about: Fund 4 Good, an initiative I’m launching as part of the GUTS World Tour.”
Rodrigo said the fund will support a myriad of programs working to protect the reproductive health freedoms of women, girls and people who menstruate. Some of the programs supported by the foundation reportedly address issues such as girls’ education and gender-based violence.
“A portion of the proceeds from the GUTS World Tour will be donated to Fund 4 Good,” Rodrigo continued. “And on the North American leg of the GUTS World Tour, I will partner with the National Abortion Fund Network to support those impacted by medical barriers and access to the reproductive health care they deserve.”
Rodrigo added that concertgoers can learn more about the fund at the National Abortion Fund Network tables set up at GUTS tour stops during the North American leg of the tour. “Thank you so much for supporting this cause that I care so much about,” she concluded the video. “I can’t wait to see you all on tour.”
