The conference will open on February 26th and run until February 29th. Approximately 100,000 visitors are expected.
An event called “Showstoppers” was held on Sunday, where startups showed off new gadgets and products ahead of the conference. Here are some eye-catching new gadgets.
Augmented reality (AR) glasses
Tooz provides comprehensive medical-grade optical solutions for augmented reality (AR) glasses.
“Essentially, our business is to make regular glasses that people have to wear every day smart,” said Frank Kaltz, chief technology officer at Toooz Technology.
“So, we add a virtual image that appears to be floating in the air to regular glasses.The feature of our technology is that we use regular lenses with any glasses and add this technology to these lenses. It’s possible.”

Dutch company Holoconnects showed how its Holobox, an 86-inch transparent 4K LCD screen that delivers life-size, realistic holographic projections, can be used in conference venues, hotels, and more.
Holoconnects not only offers pre-recorded video, such as an hour of speeches, but also live broadcasts directly from your recording station to your Holobox with little to no delay.
Holoconnects’ Jurrien Spoelstra says body language is often lacking in video conference calls.
“As you know, 90 percent of communication is body language. And during group meetings, this is the only part of your body that you can see. That means you’re missing a very large and important part of your body to get your message across. So now you can have a full conversation with someone who is there as a life-sized person.”
The Holoconnects stand won Best of Show at Showstoppers.

A retro-looking product adds a keyboard to your phone’s touch screen.
“Touchscreen keyboards are great. I use touchscreen keyboards all the time. But in the process of letting go of those buttons, we gave up a lot,” said Michael, co-founder of Clicks Technology. Fisher said.
