A beauty influencer goes viral for an all-natural homemade night cream you can make yourself for under £15 – and the recipe is incredibly easy
A woman is going viral after revealing the secret behind her homemade natural night cream, which she claims is better than expensive brands such as Charlotte Tilbury.
Content creator Kate regularly shares chemical-free treatments with her followers online. And people are going crazy over her recent video showing how to make a saffron-infused night cream, with the influencer claiming the spice can brighten skin and help fade blemishes.
Saffron has anti-inflammatory properties and contains antioxidants. And one of its key ingredients is crocin, which helps prevent hyperpigmentation.
So how do you make cream? Kate, who goes by @yourmategingerkate on TikTok, shared her recipe on TikTok, calling it “one of the best things I’ve ever made.”
Simply take a pinch of saffron and place it in a small glass jar with a lid. Next, add 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil, a few drops of vitamin E oil, and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Mix well with a spoon and it’s done!
Please note that the following video contains strong language.
The results are clear. What’s more, you can recreate the cream yourself for less than £15, which is significantly cheaper than competing brands.
Amazon sells saffron for £3.25, vitamin E oil 15ml for £2.99, aloe vera gel for £3.45 and sweet almond oil for £3.99. Meanwhile, you can buy rosewater for just £1 at Ocado.
Because cream is made with fresh ingredients, it’s important to keep it refrigerated and make fresh batches regularly.
More and more people are turning to homemade skin care products, and there are many recipes to try. A huge number of people trust this face mask – and you probably already own most of the ingredients.
