The former Team GB runner revealed that much of his training is very dynamic, with every workout in the gym tailored to have the purpose of improving his performance on the track.
He practices a lot of explosive moves when he’s in the gym to be as prepared as possible for the track.
His main moves in the gym consist of power cleans, Olympic lifts, box jumps, one-legged box jumps, and bounds.

In an interview with Men’s Health, Aikines Arrietty revealed that he attends the track three to four times a week.
The Team GB sprinter follows a strict program of gradually increasing his speed to reach his peak at the best time for the competition, as sprint training is all about speed and pacing himself.
Nitro’s past sprint routines consisted of six rounds of 200 meters, with three minutes of rest in between (typically running in 27 seconds). Within a few weeks he will build on this and reduce his rest time so he can run 200 meters in 25 seconds.
Once conditioned and up to top speed, Aikines will reach speeds of 11.3 meters per second, or over 40 miles per hour.
To achieve maximum strength during the winter, Aikines Arrietty sometimes does three power cleans or hang cleans, and tends to stay away from the bench press because it’s not necessary.
Gladiators usually do three power cleans with a weight of 150 kg, but if they only do one, aim for 170-180 kg.
