Samsung has announced a deadline for customers to get Galaxy Buds 2 Pro headphones for free when purchasing a new phone from the brand. The company announced his three new phones, the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, at his global Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year.
This offer was hinted at in a recent update posted below the list of new S24 devices, but you can only get it if you buy before the deadline. That was February 27th of this year.
Customers will also receive a free Galaxy SmartTag2, a device similar to AirTag and Tile that allows you to track your belongings by connecting to your phone. All told, it’s worth £253 in free tech gadgets.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are popular for their active noise cancellation feature, which allows users to take calls without getting muffled even in noisy environments. This wireless bud also goes up against Apple’s rival, his AirPod Pro.
The offer is available on all three of Samsung’s new phones, whether you choose the £799 S24, the more powerful S24+ or the new titanium design S24 Ultra model. Prices for the 128GB S24 start from £799, but if you have an old smartphone lying around, you could save up to £470 off that price by trading it in.
The amount you can save depends on the type and model of your old phone. For example, you can get a whopping £470 off when you trade in your S23 Ultra. However, older models such as the S21 Plus and iPhone 11 can still receive a discount of £180.
So far, we haven’t found any other retailers offering this deal, as this appears to be only available to full purchasers on the Samsung Store. Retailers Amazon and Currys, previously known for adding tech giveaways, are no longer offering them.
