Midfielder Tom Lawrence said Rangers’ “form speaks for itself” and added: “Everyone loves playing football at the moment and that’s the way it should be.”
Philippe Clement’s side have closed the gap by seven points and are level with Celtic on points and goal difference with 13 games remaining.
However, Lawrence said the team is not currently focused on being co-top and the requirements to win come solely from being a Rangers player.
“I wouldn’t say we talked, but the atmosphere is very good,” he explained.
“When you sign for Rangers, you know the pressure that comes with it. You have to win every game. That’s just the nature of it.”
Lawrence has struggled with long-term injuries since joining the club, but has been pleased with the way his fitness has been managed and the consistent rotation Clement has implemented in team selection.
“The manager was open,” he said. “We have a clear plan and it seems to be working, so we hope it continues.
“Personally, I have my own program. I can’t say there was a huge factor, but adjustments here and there have helped me.
“I like to play every game. But because of the rotation, we’ve got a great team. Everyone comes in and does their job for the team, and that’s the way it’s supposed to be. .
“We are all professionals. Even if you are left out of one team, you just have to train hard and then hope that you can be included in the next team.”
