Xponential Fitness, Inc. has completed the sale of its Stride Fitness brand to Stride Fitness Franchising, Inc., owned by Shaun Grove, president of Rumble Boxing.
Anthony Geisler, CEO of Xponential Fitness, Inc. “We are continually evaluating our portfolio of brands to advance our business. We are pleased to transition the Stride brand.” Prior to joining Xponential, he is an operator with nearly 10 years of experience owning and operating franchises. After considering Stride’s alternatives, he concluded that this transaction was the best option for his Xponential and his STRIDE brand. ”
In conjunction with this announcement, Xponential has begun a search for Mr. Grove’s successor as president of Rumble Boxing. He has agreed to remain in his current position until his successor is named.
As of December 31, 2023, Stride Fitness locations accounted for less than 1% of Xponential’s total open studios. The sale of Stride Fitness is not expected to have a material impact on 2024 earnings. Xponential received no consideration for the sale and will provide transition support to the new owners.
