A popular Manchester restaurant has announced plans to serve a curry so spicy that customers will have to sign a waiver before eating it.
In honor of National Chili Day on February 22nd, Chester Street’s Zouk Tea Bar & Grill is bringing back its Carolina Reaper Curry for one week only, plus try your luck with Extra Hot Spice There will also be special challenges for people. .

A special challenge on Thursday (February 22) will see people take on curry for notoriety. Those who finish their meal can get it for free and also enjoy a chance to win a free ice cream sundae and goodies. Prizes on offer include a £10 gift card, brunch for two and a Sunday roast sharing platter.
Until recently, the Carolina Reaper was considered the hottest chili pepper in the world, reaching 1.64 million points on the Scoville scale. To put it into perspective, cayenne pepper has a score of 50,000, while habanero pepper boasts his score of 350,000.
