Shoppers believe they have found a ‘glitch’ in the till that allows them to buy a £16 beauty device for just £7 when they scan it at the till.
One savvy Primark customer managed to pull off a successful transaction and shared his purchase with the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group.
She posted a photo of her angled hair curlers and wrote: “Don’t walk to Primark today, run.
“I found this on this site yesterday and bought it. It’s great, very quick and easy.”
The Facebook post received 93 likes and over 113 comments.
Another shopper then revealed that the item was still scanned at the bottom even though it didn’t have the marked down sticker.
She wrote, “Thank you to the ladies who posted earlier.
“They were in stock at the Primark Oldham store and none were marked, but they were scanned at the till for £7. It’s worth asking if they have stickers on them.”
Fellow deal-hunting experts praised the significant reductions.
One person said, “Best curler I’ve ever used! I’ve tried several!”
Another said: “This is a great curler. I bought it for my daughter years ago and she uses it all the time.
“Most curlers cause your hair to fall out, but this one really stays in place.”
However, a third person commented: “Be careful as it gets very hot and will melt the GHD mat!”
The Sun has contacted Primark for comment.
