As quoted by news agency ANI, Kangana expressed her thoughts on the film and said, “’Emergency’ is my most ambitious project and my second directorial effort after ‘Manikarnika’ and this big-budget We have brought together the best talent from India and the world for a historical drama.” ‘Emergency’ will be Kangana’s first solo directorial film.
‘Emergency’ also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nehru and the late Satish Kaushik in important roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film’s music is orchestrated by Sanchit Balhara and the screenplay and dialogues are by Ritesh Shah.
