King Charles diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment
Prince William has returned to royal duties for the first time since his father was diagnosed with cancer and his wife underwent abdominal surgery.
The Prince of Wales will hold an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle this morning, before attending a gala dinner in the evening to raise money for London’s Ambulance Charity.
The father-of-three spent 13 days in hospital recovering from surgery, before taking a break from royal duties to care for the Princess of Wales and her children.
But as King Charles has been forced to postpone official duties due to cancer treatment, other members of the royal family, including Prince William, have also stepped up to the plate.
Younger brother Prince Harry reportedly stayed in a London hotel on Tuesday night after a brief reunion with his father, marking the start of his busy day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex vacated Frogmore Cottage in Windsor last year and are no longer based in the UK, so they now need a “formal invitation” to stay on the royal family’s “protected estates”.
