Payments giant Klarna today moved into a new headquarters in London, billed as “the world’s largest co-working space” near the River Thames and where employees can “walk and talk” meetings.
The Swedish fintech company, best known for its BNPL services, has moved from WeWork Holborn to WeWork Waterloo, just a 1-minute walk from Waterloo Station.
It is believed the new office will allow Klarna to provide more space for its London-based team.
The new office layout supports cross-functional teams to collaborate in a single space.
Additionally, the new office offers more breakout spaces for teams to collaborate.
Officials say the office is ideally located just off the Southbank, allowing staff to “walk, talk” and hold meetings along the Thames.
According to WeWork’s blurb, WeWork Waterloo is “the world’s largest coworking space, offering a variety of vibrant facilities for both corporations and startups.”
Adding further:

Klarna also has an office in Manchester and is thought to have more than 200 staff in the UK, with offices across Europe including its home base in Stockholm, Vienna, Prague, Munich and Helsinki.
The European payments giant moved to Holborn WeWork in 2021, but was previously located in London’s Oxford Circus.
WeWork Waterloo, which offers rental office and co-working space, is home to companies such as media company Centaur Media and technology company IBM.
